Rovio’s Angry Birds series is back once again in its latest installment but with more action! In a more interactive gameplay, you get to face the pig villains in a more direct way – compared to its previous game formats where you just have to launch your Angry Bird into a green plain or outer space. Like its predecessors, Angry Birds Epic is a strategy game in its own sense: Users must figure out their opponents’ weaknesses, as they earn upgrades for their weapons and armor. Kind of like World of Warcraft-esque with of mix of Dragon’s Nest, don’t you think? Nevertheless, we think Rovio is really upping its game.
The game was announced on March 12, 2014 and features turn-based combat and a crafting system. The game was soft launched March 17 on the Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan and Canada iTunes app stores, and was released worldwide last June 12, 2014.
