I’m Sarah, 15 years old, from the UAE and I usually sing classic rock or ballads.
How did you get started?
My mom made me sing on the karaoke since I was 2.
Have you performed in public before?
Yes I have once in Hilton when I was 3 and a few random mall contests, talent shows and music recitals. I won first place in a comic con karaoke contest before.
Have you ever mixed up your music with other genres?
Yes I do. I kinda give rock a bit of pop and vice versa.
What are your favorite music genres?
Classic rock, pop rock, pop. Honestly I like everything I just usually prefer rock.
Do you have a favorite singer or group?
Yes I do, I have quite a lot.
What do you do besides sing?
I can dance, play the piano, play volleyball and I cosplay.
What do you need to be successful as a singer?
In my opinion, I think I need to go abroad like out of the UAE because trying to have a musical career here is hard since there is not much for it.
What do you think about the UAE music scene?
It needs to grow more but it’s not bad.
