The UAE’s leading delivery drivers make a beeline for the Capital after mass appeal
Abu Dhabi – 11th May 2015: Mashaweer has transformed the way consumers and companies are transporting goods around the UAE. Now the popular and very personalized service has extended their range of deliveries to include a new concentrated focus on pick-ups and drop-offs in Abu Dhabi alone. The service, which started in April, takes all of 90-minutes to deliver any goods from the time a customer places a call, to the time it reaches its destination in the city.
Mashaweer first mastered the movement of delivery in 2012 with a Dubai-centric services, which was followed by Sharjah and simultaneously Emirate-to-Emirate deliveries were taking place. Now Abu Dhabi has its own in-bound drivers, which service just the city.
Behind the initiative, which helps people save time and effort is Hani El Sherbini, Co-Founder of Mashaweer who says: “We have launched our services in Abu Dhabi after we had a lot of response on our social media accounts asking when we would be able to start deliveries within the city. So we took the steps to strategize customer-friendly city-in-city deliveries and errands.”
“Abu Dhabi is an important geographical expansion because we see a lot of potential in the city, especially with the parking issues not to mention the demand we experienced after we launched the service in Dubai.”
Mashaweer caters to anyone with an item to deliver or an errand to run, no matter how small. From banks and flower shops to brick and mortar stores and bakeries, there’s not much the Mashaweer drivers can’t deliver.
“Customization is very important to us and our clients,” confirmed Hani. “We collect couture from shopping malls and deliver direct. We’ve also had some out of the ordinary requests including the purchase and delivery of eyelash extensions. But we’re flexible and that’s what gives us the edge whilst maintaining ease.”
“However when we first launched the service, we focused on individuals and now 80 per cent of the business comes from corporate customers, all of whom we’re looking forward to working for in Abu Dhabi.”
Hiring a full-time driver can be a huge expense for companies, money and time-wise, especially when those errands being run are done so sporadically. However Mashaweer recognizes that in order for businesses to grow and develop, they need to streamline certain processes and running corporate errands and deliveries or even goods can disrupt that flow.
“Our aim is to help business flourish by taking away one very essential and important, yet sometimes very mundane, task,” continued Hani. “We optimize our resources so others benefit every day.”
Mashaweer works in three ways including by ordering a pick-up over the phone (800 900 900), email (info@mashaweeruae.com) or by placing an order via the website form (www.mashaweeruae.com)
