He had been in the travel industry for years which ended up with him owning his own business with a partner although the business didn’t work out as planned it was about the same time he realized there had to be more to life that working 70-80 hours a week and worrying if he could meet his next due date.
But it wasn’t always like this for Chad Glass as he was pretty young for the different styles of music he was listening to when his passion for music started. He said “It’s a bit cliché but things were different back then and i think it was easier for you to be allowed to grow up to be your own person.” As for new music and music in general, apparently it was appreciated more than it is now, no argument there. People, young or old would be going out and buying a 7 or 12 inch vinyl or an LP(album) had value and satisfaction attached to it where as now you can simply load up your Ipod with as much music (free or cheap) as you want but with stuff that is a whole lot more generic. Music appeared to be more ground breaking back then as technology was alot slower, so a new style was classed as quite a big thing; whereas now a “new” style is simply a vamped up beat or way of delivering an old style.
