Popular singer to perform in the city on 10th and 11th October at Zabeel Park
No celebration of the Indian festival of Navratri is ever complete without the dazzling performance of the undisputed Dandiya Queen, Falguni Pathak. The special performance by the popular singer adds an unusual sparkle to the Garba fests across the world. Adding to Navratri Festivities and giving the Indians in UAE a chance to dance to the tunes of the loved celebrity artist, Spotlight Entertainment is bringing, Falguni Pathak to Dubai for two-nights of “Dandiya Masti” on 10th and 11th October at Zabeel Park Amphitheater.
The incredibly lively concert by the singer will see revellers twirl around with wooden sticks during the Gujarati folk dance festival and dance to Pathak’s biggest hits including “Chudi jo khanki haath ma”, “Maine payal hai chhankai”, “Meri chunar udd udd jaye”, “Ayi pardesh se pariyon ki rani”, “Sawaan Mein amongst many others.

Predominantly singing Gujarati folk and traditional songs, Falguni is the most sought-after singer for the Indian dance festival of ‘Navratri’. She is known for her high energy performances and mixes of Bollywood, indi-pop and traditional music into the Gujarati folk melodies. Pathak’s vocal prowess has earned her a worldwide fan following while her concerts are known to sell to packed houses during the dandiya season.
Tickets for “Dandiya Masti” start at Dh39 for children and Dh89 for adults and are inclusive of the park entry fee. Available at Platinumlist Dubai, tickets for two cost Dh159 while group tickets for four are priced at Dh 249. Children under 5 enter free while 5 to 15 years pay half price. Moreover, a variety of food and Garba sticks can also be purchased at the venue.
The event kicks off at 7:00 pm on both days and continues until midnight. It’s a Viu event, managed and marketed by Spotlight Entertainment.
