Abu Dhabi: The third season of Arab Hope Makers will conclude with stellar performances from popular artists such as Nawal Al Kuwaitia, Balqees, Mohammed Assaf and three-time Grammy Award winner RedOne on 20th February 2020, where the winners of the Arab Hope Makers will be honoured at a starlit event at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.
Launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in 2017, the Arab Hope Makers initiative recognizes and honours people that have contributed to make a positive impact on their communities and those that dedicate their lives for the betterment of the Arab world.
The initiatives and projects launched by the Arab Hope Makers have been divided into various sectors including education, environment, relief, health, medical aid, culture and art programmes, as well as programmes for community development, and women’s and youth empowerment.
More than 92,000 Hope Makers from 38 countries (including 15 Arab countries) contributed towards bringing about positive change through thousands of community, volunteering and humanitarian initiatives, projects and campaigns.
The proceeds of the event will go to support the new Magdi Yacoub Global Aswan Heart Center in Cairo that aims to provide free cardiac care to vulnerable communities.
