Performing in front of a packed house of over 7000 people, Arijit Singh mesmerized the audiences with his soulful yet power packed performance held at Arena, Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday, 11th January.
Presented by Mashreq Bank in association with Sobha Realty, the event was conceptualized, designed and promoted by Navin Rishi and his company Speed Entertainment. ‘Arijit Singh Live with World Musicians’ concert was part of the Dubai Shopping Festival 2019 celebrations.
Arijit Singh’s mellifluous voice created a truly magical experience leaving the audiences totally spellbound. He started the show with the popular title track of the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil while following it up with his chart hits, including “Ye Fitoor Mera” from Fitoor, “Hamdard” from Ek Villain , “Agar Tum Saath Ho” from Tamasha and of course the popular song “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2, to name but a few.
Arijit also interspersed the concert with few soulful renditions of the old favourites such as Kabhi Kabhi Mere Dil Mein, Kahin Dur Jab Din Dhal Jaye, Lag Ja Gale among a few others. Belting out a medley of songs by Jagjit Singh, A R Rahman, Mukesh and even a track by Pakistani rock band Junoon, the concert finished on a high note with Kabira from Yeh Jawaani Hai Diwani and Channa Mereye from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
