For performance buffs the phone comes with the Blackberry 10.1 operating system, and is equipped with a dual core 1.5GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 3.1” Super AMOLED 720 X 720 pixels Screen, 2 mega-pixels front facing and 8 mega-pixels rear camera which can record 1080p HD video. The Q10 offers 13 hours talk time on 3G and is available for sale at retailers across UAE at Dh 2699.

APPLE’S APP STORE HITS 50 BILLION DOWNLOADS
Apple’s App store experienced its 50th billionth app download. Apple announced it would give the lucky downloader a $10,000 iTunes gift card. The next 50 people to download an app after that each received a $500 gift card. Although Apple did not say who won there was a countdown ticker on their iTunes website.
BLACKBERRY EXPANDS BBM CHAT APP TO ANDROID AND IOS
According to news reports BlackBerry said it would expand its BBM chat to other mobile systems. It said that it would initially offer texts, photo messages and group sharing functions on devices running Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS operating system, starting from “the summer”. It added that it planned to roll out screen sharing, voice and video calls – all without charges – later this year. This move could prove disruptive to Skype, Whatsapp and other rivals.
