Abu Dhabi: Ivanka Trump, advisor to the President of the United States, met with UAE women leaders and entrepreneurs at an event hosted by US Ambassador Rakolta and attended by ministers Reem Al Hashimy, Noura Al Kaabi, and Sarah Amiri at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Ms Trump was in the capital Abu Dhabi on Saturday where she visited Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and toured the museum.

Ms Trump is one of the key speakers at the event, including Right Honourable Theresa May, Member of Parliament and former Prime Minister of the UK; Kristalina Georgieva, managing director of the IMF; David Malpass, president of the World Bank Group; and over 100 leaders and experts from across the world.

The 2-day (16th and 17th) Global Women’s Forum Dubai (GWFD) 2020 kicked off on Sunday at Madinat Jumeirah. The event is hosted by the Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
A topics including transformative strategies for global gender balance, the future of women at work during the Fourth Industrial Revolution, propelling female entrepreneurship in the MENA region, women’s active role in government, and the importance of female engagement in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, among others will be explored during the GWFD.
