At Tempo we love innovation and are smitten by technology. I believe it is the idea of ‘possibility’ that turns us on. You may remember that in March 2008 we embraced Microsoft Tag during the same weeks it was leaving beta, and got a pleasant call from Microsoft in Redmond telling us we were pioneers in our region. Now -with this issue- we are happy to be integrating Augmented Reality, breaking new ground once again in the region with AR in publishing! This is possible through an exciting partnership with UK based Virtual Mob and their barely-off-beta “Point At Me” [PAM] AR platform.
At Tempo we love to share the journey of discovery and experimentation, with startups, visionaries and mavericks. Although AR is a nascent technology (in terms of day to day applications) we think it will increasingly impact our lives, and at Tempo, we welcome the future with open arms!
Speaking of innovators and risk takers, our issue this month is chockfull of heart warming stories about people in our own community that are changing our world for the better.
