“Coming face to face with challenges is inevitable in all walks of life. The question is not about the severity of the problem but how you deal with it. A lot of times we feel there’s a road block to a difficult situation and that there’s no way out of it. But remember that the Almighty will not close one door before He opens another and it’s our duty to look for it. We have to be quick on our toes, swift to response and lift our spirits up. While writing this, I had a train of thought that ran through my mind on how every challenge I faced was more complicated than the one before. At first I would always wonder when this circumstance would end, but now I look back and think, ‘wow! I’m stronger than ever and I’m more prepared for the times ahead than I could ever be’. I now have the opportunity to inform others on how to react to the same situation and maybe make a joke or two about them.”
