“Radio Dekkh”, a crack up comedy written and directed by Gaggan Mudgal depicts the funny world of Radio and the life of RJs’ at a radio station
Gaggan Mudgal, the veteran UAE Radio Host is all set to tickle Dubai audiences with his dose of comedy through his upcoming live performance “Radio Dekkh”. Scheduled to take place on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Emirates Theatre, Emirates International School, Jumeirah, Dubai, the show with its funny take on situations faced by RJ’s in their day to day lives will have audiences cracking up all throughout.
Speaking about the comedy, Gaggan said, “It’s my attempt to present the amusing life in, on and around radio in the funniest way – its routine, challenges, situations and also the various aspects of the life of an RJ through this comedy act. It is fresh, fun and full of laughter and audiences are sure to have a great time”.
Engaging the viewers with his fascinating mix of theatre and stand-up, Gaggan Mudgal’s show presents 14 characters depicting the life of RJs at a radio station. Through various acts they present what goes in the studio during the programme, after and during their free time. There are mainly four spaces where the acts are placed and these include: studios where the RJs go on-air from; reception area where contestants come to receive prizes; recreational area where RJs chill out and gossip; changing space which depicts the listener’s side or a back-story of an RJ amongst other hilarious situations.
