I had to go online because my friend Sally wanted to talk to me. When I logged on, my friend was online and we started to chat. But then, another user logged on and came into our conversation.
‘Hi!’ the anonymous person wrote.
I quickly dialled my friend’s number on my phone and asked her who this was, but she didn’t know.
‘If we don’t know who this person is, we should tell our parents!’ I suggested, but my friend said we should ask him some questions.
‘Who are you?’ my friend wrote in the chat bar.
The anonymous person just replied, ‘A friend,’ and asked: ‘Who are you?’
That’s when my friend wrote, ‘I’m Sally and I’m in the chat bar with my friend Millie. I live in Brighton, at 31 Gilbert Street, and my friend lives in Park Street, at number 56. We’re teenagers and go to Brighton Elementary School. Our phone numbers are…’
I called my friend as quick as a flash and shouted, ‘You idiot! Why did you tell him where we live? What will we do if he calls us?’
Unfortunately, he did call me, and he said in a sweet, evil voice, ‘I’m coming to your house to get you!’
The phone went dead.
