A Teacher

Neither am I only a singer,

Nor am I a listener just

I am the tears of ecstasy

Flowing from the eyes of the singer and listener

I am like a flower, blossoming from the dusty ruins

Of a destroyed heart, a corrupt mind

The blessings of a pure being, showering like

A bright sunlight, flowing into the pulse of life

None like him ever existed

None like my Teacher

His knowledge is like a rain of light into the barren darkness of our materialised minds

Each drop, he bestows from his foot

I burst into the blissful splendour of spring

Beyond words, beyond me

Beyond the mind and body

He teaches me this

 Ignorance, my greatest enemy

Consciousness, a powerful tool

Life, a great gift

Existence, a reliable guide

Blissfulness, a manifestation of true human nature

Humility, my common courtesy

Transformation, my only duty.
