Dubai INTERIOR DESIGNER ATTENDS FASHION WEEK with BRIZO Faucets

Dubai, 27 March 2013: Laura Bielecki of Godwin Austen Johnson Architects (GAJ) in the UAE was part of a small group of design professionals invited on behalf of Brizo, a brand owned by Delta Faucet Company, to attend its biannual Fashion Week event in New York City. The invitation-only event brought together some of the country’s top names in interior design and architecture for a three-day workshop, brand immersion session and networking experience. The programme culminated at the Jason Wu fashion show, where attendees previewed the designer’s Autumn / Fall 2013 runway collection and celebrated with Wu at a private cocktail reception. Bielecki, an Interior Designer at the Dubai-based firm GAJ,  was one of only 17 design professionals chosen to participate in the February 2013 Brizo Fashion Week programme. Laura is a prolific blogger and owns a journal showcasing new and exciting products in the industry including contemporary furniture, unique lighting and trendy home décor. Her work can be seen all over the world in some of the most affluent homes and businesses. Laura, who holds a Bachelor of Interior Design from Mount Royal University was the only international blogger invited from the Middle East. She joined a growing network of past participants known as the Blogger 19, a term coined at the first such design blogger event in February 2010.
