The AmCham Abu Dhabi Women in Business Committee is proud to announce Olgoonik Global Security as a signatory of WOMEN ACHIEVE, an innovative program which promotes the professional advancement of women. WOMEN ACHIEVE was developed by AmCham Abu Dhabi’s Women in Business Committee to encourage companies and organizations to offer women more opportunities to advance to positions of greater responsibility and leadership. The Olgoonik Corporation is an Alaska Native-owned village corporation established under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. Located in Wainwright, Alaska along the coast of the Chukchi Sea, the Corporation is owned by more than 1,100 Alaska Native shareholders, almost half of whom live in the community. Janice Phillips, General Manager, Olgoonik Global Security, said, “On behalf of Olgoonik Global Security, we are honored to be apart of such a professional, positive program such as ‘Women Achieve’. We have about 50% women on our UAE team and I look forward to encouraging them to become leaders in our community. Participation in WOMEN ACHIEVE is open to entities of all sizes. Companies that are interested can elect to become signatories by contacting AmCham Abu Dhabi. WOMEN ACHIEVE signatories receive a certificate of acknowledgement from AmCham Abu Dhabi and are eligible to use the WOMEN ACHIEVE seal on their communication collateral.
