Black and White Portraits

It is said “if you want to shoot fashion, shoot in colour, but if you want to shoot emotions, shoot in black and white”. That doesn’t mean that the emotions cannot be captured in colour, but in my personal experience there is something special in black and white photographs that can sometimes be lost in colour. The key to a successful portrait is your subject’s eyes, a good use of contrast and composition.
