Yasmeen Al-Naif is the designer behind Juniors Be Junior, a playful collection of irreverent street wear for men and women. Along with her younger sister Layla, she has built one of Dubai’s most social media-savvy new brands.

In the two years since the brand’s debut, Juniors Be Junior has transformed itself from a line of simple graphic-print snap-back caps to a full collection of lifestyle gear. Think hip sweatpants, iridescent bomber jackets, and t-shirts with sassy slogans. Core to the brand is the unique headgear which started it all, which come in a solid assortment of fun beanies, colourful fedoras, and slick 5-panels.
So what’s in the future for Juniors be Junior ?
“I see the collections evolving and the range of accessories diversifying. I hope to grow the brand and stock products in stores across Europe and the US,” Yasmeen said. “It’s ambitious but it’s definitely something I see happening.”
