A flower, an expression of a fulfilled tree
The completeness of its life, a flower
Its beauty is like the untapped competence of a human body
Its blossoming is the celebration of human inclusiveness
Its colour, its vibrancy, its life
He looked at a flower and realized he is a flower
Yet not blossomed, yet not complete
I saw a tree and I saw me
My life in harmony with the tree
I closed my eyes and I saw
The tree and me as one entity
Since birth we were destined for this harmony
She gave me life with every exhalation
As I gave her mine
For centuries half of you and me were living in a tree
Being, breathing and blossoming within the tree
And yet we go about exploiting what Mother Nature gave us
Without a price, never considering it a loan, just for us
Let us stop for a while and expand our senses, we see
The tree as a part of you and also a part of me.
