I wanted to create a place where I could declutter and sell items that were still in good condition contributing to helping reduce planet waste and make a pre-loved world part of everyone’s future. Reloved launches the 06 November 2024 a pre-loved marketplace website, pioneering sustainable, slow fashion, connecting buyers and sellers of pre-owned treasures. The website aims to redefine the way customers shop, emphasising sustainability, affordability and the joy of discovering new and unique items. From fabulous furniture to high-street hits, Reloved is fashion conscious with a conscience.
Locally owned, Reloved was founded by Annie Stacey, who felt the frustrations of trying to sell and buy second-hand items in the region. As a lover of sustainable fashion, Annie created Reloved to be an outlet where your spring clean can be put to good use, whilst reducing your carbon footprint and ensuring your pre-loved clothing and furniture will go to a grateful home.
The website has five different categories, women’s, men’s, home, pets, baby & children with its main unique selling point being the haggle-free nature of the website. Sellers provide a “buy it now” option on full price items with no negotiation or sellers can set their items to allow buyers to offer a reduced price. Unlike other second hand platforms, with Reloved there is no selling fee, everything the seller earns is entirely theirs.
The website is the perfect destination for those looking for an easy way to explore thousands of distinct items, and browse through a vast variety of brands. All items can be purchased directly through the website and collections can be organised by the buyer or through the platforms delivery partners.
Larger items such as furniture can be delivered, with an option to assemble the product at the buyers chosen destination.
All communication between the buyer and seller is public to avoid duplication questions, once the item is purchased the sellers contacts will be available to liaise the buyers collection. This prevents being inundated with phone calls and messages when trying to sell an item.
