Tempo goes 4!

How quickly time flies! In just four years Tempo has grown from a somewhat awkward but extremely idealistic little magazine, to a mature, confident and yet still seriously idealistic magazine, and digital platform.
In October 2009 the idea came to us to create a magazine that would build bridges between the different communities, provide an outlet for people who make art and music, and provide a platform for change agents with big ideas and bigger hearts.
Thank you to all who took the journey with us. I take this opportunity to salute all our partners, including the brands that have advertised with us, and the malls, cafes, libraries and universities that host us.
A big shout out to all our contributors, principally: Alma, Ian, Terry, Dave, Craig, Seumas, Shahid, Dorian, Emma, Zulekha, Manar, Alia, Angeli, Sanah, Diji, our new writers, and the entire Tempo staff (past and present) who have helped shape Tempo’s personality and its identity.
We sincerely hope that Tempo has brought you positive energy, community compassion, and the spirit of possibility.  We at Tempo have been enriched by this experience in more ways than we can say.
Peace and happiness.
